St Kilda SLSC Reunion 2022
CLUB REUNION. ADVANCE NOTICE
The club committee planned a 90th reunion in 2021 as it seemed a long way off until we reached the 100 year milestone.
As well as Covid getting in the way Rowan Leck, our club historian, has conclusively proved the clubs foundation was in 1930 ( not 1931 as believed)
This means the actual gathering will be a 92nd anniversary but we are firing ahead as Covid has turned everything on its head anyway.
WHATS HAPPENING
The long weekend of Queens Birthday (June 2022) has been designated and planning is under way.
A friendly low key long weekend is envisaged, registration Friday, Something Saturday and a relaxed semi formal Saturday night - a Sunday afternoon smoko at the club with live music.
Nothing too strenuous or too expensive.
We know a lot of out of towners will have family accommodation but we will investigate a central location for those who require beds.
Detailed information and registration will be out in weeks to come.
If you remain in contact with old team mates, club mates, tavern time buddies, or red devil recipients, start talking to the crew about making Queens birthday 22 the trip of the year.
We are excited to be finally able to move forward to bring this club milestone to you !
